Move for hunger

Take a closer look at Move for Hunger

"We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that works with relocation companies to collect non-perishable food items and deliver it to food banks all across North America."

My responsibility

  • I took this internship to gain experience working for client(s) and to get a feel for the real world. But most importantly I took it to give back! Move for Hunger is a great cause that had no steady stream of video content. This experience was one I will never forget, and makes me feel confident about doing social good.
  • Spring internship creating motion & video content. Tasks included creating content, audio/video production, video editing, animation, motion graphics, social media gifs, and a few print pieces as needed.

Wilderness Clean-up

This was a self motivated movement that included cleaning up:

Each location required different levels of attention. Some required a team of people to make a small dent, while others were one day, myself, and a bag, trying to make the biggest difference I could with the time I had.

Local animal Shelter

Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter

Just doing the dirty work of cleaning kennels, feeding animals, and washing what needed to be washed. I have always had companion for animals that don't have a home and are at risk of being put down. If I can give some time to do dirty work to make their lives better, I feel I've done something great.

"Animals can't complain so they always roll with the punches, not that they would even if they could. They have to much love to give." -Mary Dickson
